Description

Sweet Potato Tots are a delightful snack featuring the irresistible taste of fresh sweet potatoes combined with spices and herbs. This easy-to-make dish is perfect for a quick dinner or a healthy appetizer that can be baked to crispy perfection for all to enjoy.


Ingredients

  • 2 lb peeled sweet potatoes
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt to taste
  • flaky sea salt for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Fill a large pot with about 4 cups of water, add a pinch of salt, and bring it to a boil.
  • Once boiling, carefully add the peeled sweet potatoes and cook for 10 to 12 minutes until they are about two-thirds cooked.
  • Remove the sweet potatoes and let them cool slightly, then grate them into a large bowl.

Notes

For the best texture, ensure sweet potatoes are grated finely.
Consider adding a touch of cayenne for a spicy kick.
Flaky sea salt offers a delightful crunch when garnished.
