Description

This steak marinade delivers irresistible flavor with simple ingredients like olive oil, soy sauce, and garlic. Perfect for a quick dinner or any meal when you crave a satisfying dish.


Ingredients

  • ¼ cup olive oil or light flavored oil
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley or 1 teaspoon dried
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh rosemary or 1 teaspoon dried
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 sprigs fresh thyme or ¼ teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • 1 clove garlic minced or more to taste

Instructions

  1. In a glass bowl or freezer bag, mix together olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, parsley, rosemary, black pepper, thyme, and minced garlic.
  2. Add up to 2 pounds of steak into the marinade, ensuring it is well-coated, and let it marinate for at least 1 hour or up to 4 hours for deeper flavor.
  3. Remove the steak from the marinade and discard the leftover marinade.
  4. Grill or broil the steak according to your desired level of doneness.

Notes

For best flavor, let the steak marinate for 4 hours if possible.
Feel free to adjust the garlic and pepper based on personal taste.
This marinade works well with various cuts of steak.
