- 8 oz. ghiradelli semi-sweet chocolate baking squares
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 tbsp. vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 6 cups whole milk
- 1 cup baileys® irish cream
- marshmallows or whipped cream
Instructions
- Break the chocolate squares and place them into the slow cooker along with the other ingredients, leaving out the Baileys.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on HIGH for 1.5 hours, stirring every 30 minutes.
- Once the cocoa is heated through, add the Baileys Irish Cream and stir.
- Prepare mugs and place whipped cream and a bowl of marshmallows alongside the slow cooker so guests can serve themselves.
- Switch the slow cooker to warm to keep the hot chocolate ready for up to 3 hours, stirring frequently.
Notes
