- 6 tablespoons butter
- 2 (10 ounce) bags mini marshmallows
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 6 cups rice krispies cereal
- 2 cups crushed kettle cooked potato chips
- 2 ounces dark chocolate, melted
Instructions
- Spray a 9×13 inch pan with nonstick baking spray.
- In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter until it bubbles and brown bits form. Swirl the pan occasionally and then reduce heat to low.
- Add 1 bag of marshmallows and ¼ of the second bag to the melted butter. Stir until creamy and fully melted. Add vanilla extract and turn off the heat.
- Mix in the rice krispies cereal with a large spatula. Once partially mixed, add the crushed potato chips. Stir until well combined.
- Incorporate the remaining marshmallows and press the mixture into the prepared pan using wax or parchment paper to smooth the top.
- Melt dark chocolate in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth. Drizzle over the treats once melted.
- Let the chocolate set and then cut into squares for serving.
Notes
For the best flavor, use kettle-cooked potato chips.
Store leftovers in an airtight container to maintain freshness.
