Description

This Pico de Gallo is bursting with flavor from ripe tomatoes, crispy red onions, and zesty lime juice. Perfect as a fresh dip for tortilla chips or a topping for tacos, it’s a simple, wholesome dish that brings a taste of Mexico to your table.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound roma tomatoes
  • ½ red onion
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • ½ teaspoon fine sea salt
  • ¼ freshly ground black pepper
  • ⅛ teaspoon cumin
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro

Instructions

  1. Finely dice the tomatoes and remove the seeds and pulp from the center.
  2. Finely dice the red onion and chop the cilantro.
  3. Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and stir thoroughly to mix.
  4. Chill for 30 minutes to 1 hour for enhanced flavor, or serve immediately.

Notes
