Description

This Peach Preserves recipe highlights the sweet and juicy flavor of fresh peaches, combined with sugar and lemon. A simple and delightful way to enjoy homemade goodness on toast or as a topping!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 peaches, diced into 2” cubes
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • ½ lemon, zest

Instructions

  1. Add diced peaches, sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest to a large saucepan.
  2. Bring the mixture to a rapid boil and maintain the boil for 20 minutes, stirring every few minutes with a wooden spoon to help break down the peaches until the mixture thickens.
  3. Transfer the preserves to a large glass jar or several smaller jars with sealed lids and refrigerate. Enjoy within 2 months.

Notes

Make sure to use ripe peaches for the best flavor.
Store the preserves in a cool, dark place after sealing to maximize freshness.
