- 4 cups fresh peach slices peeled
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- pinch of salt
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter melted
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and prepare a 9×13 baking dish with nonstick spray.
- In a medium saucepan, mix the sliced peaches with the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt, cooking over medium heat for 3–4 minutes until warm and juicy.
- Pour the melted butter into the bottom of the prepared baking dish without stirring it in.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, 1 cup of sugar, baking powder, salt, and milk until smooth, then pour this mixture over the butter in the pan without stirring.
- Gently spoon the peach mixture over the batter, spacing the slices evenly, and include some juice. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon on top.
- Bake in the oven for 38–42 minutes, until the top is golden and bubbling.
- Allow it to cool slightly and serve warm with vanilla ice cream.

Use ripe, juicy peaches for the best flavor.
Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for an enhanced experience.
