Description

These Marry Me Chicken Sliders are irresistibly flavorful and easy to prepare, featuring tender shredded chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, and gooey cheese, making them a delightful option for any meal.


Ingredients

  • ¾ cup heavy whipping cream
  • ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes, soaked in hot water, drained, & chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • ⅓ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 3 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded
  • 1 package king’s hawaiian sweet rolls (12 count)
  • ½ cup fresh baby spinach
  • 1 cup monterey jack cheese, shredded
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a 7×11-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy whipping cream, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic powder, kosher salt, black pepper, crushed red pepper flakes, and grated parmesan cheese.
  3. Add in the shredded rotisserie chicken and stir until well mixed.
  4. Place the bottom half of the Hawaiian sweet rolls in the prepared baking dish and fill with the chicken mixture.
  5. Top with fresh baby spinach and monterey jack cheese, then cover with the top half of the sweet rolls.
  6. Brush the melted butter mixed with minced garlic over the top of the rolls.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve warm.

Notes

Feel free to adjust the amount of sun-dried tomatoes based on your preference for their flavor.
These sliders can be prepared in advance and baked just before serving for a quick meal.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
