- 6 tablespoons salted butter
- 28 ounces sweetened condensed milk
- ½ cup sour cream
- 4 large egg yolks
- ¾ cup key lime juice
- ¼ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons lime zest (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C).
- Prepare a 9” square baking dish by lining it with parchment paper, leaving handles for easy lifting, and lightly greasing it.
Notes
For a more vibrant flavor, use fresh key lime juice instead of bottled.
Allow the bars to cool completely before slicing for cleaner cuts.
