Ingredients
Scale
- ⅓ cup olive oil or vegetable oil
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar or red wine vinegar
- 3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons italian seasoning
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt or to taste
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
Instructions
- In a bowl or freezer bag, mix all the marinade ingredients.
- Add the chicken to the marinade and toss to ensure it's well coated.
- Seal the bag or cover the bowl; marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to 4 hours.
- Preheat the grill to medium high heat.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade, letting any excess drip off. Discard the remaining marinade.
- Grill the chicken for 7 to 8 minutes on one side. Flip and grill for another 7 to 8 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Transfer the chicken to a plate and let it rest for 3 to 5 minutes before slicing.
Notes
For well-flavored chicken, marinate it for a longer period, if possible.
Ensure the grill is hot enough before placing the chicken to get those perfect grill marks.
Let the chicken rest after grilling for juicier results.
