Treat your taste buds to these Fall-Apart Tender Crockpot Apple Pork Chops. This dish boasts deliciously juicy pork combined with sweet apples and spices, making it a quick and comforting meal that’s easy to prepare. Perfect for families or anyone craving homemade goodness!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 to 6 boneless or bone-in pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
  • 2 large apples, cored and sliced (granny smith or honeycrisp work well)
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 cup apple juice or apple cider
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
  • 1 tablespoon water (optional, for thickening)

Instructions

  • Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • Spread the apples and onions evenly at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • Place the pork chops on top of the apple and onion mixture.
  • In a small bowl, mix the apple juice, brown sugar, and cinnamon; pour over the pork chops.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours until the pork is tender.
  • To thicken the sauce (optional), transfer pork chops to a plate, mix cornstarch with water, and add to the cooking liquid. Cook on high for 5 minutes until thickened.
  • Serve the pork chops topped with apples and onions, drizzling sauce as desired.

Notes

For the best flavor, use fresh, juicy apples.
Ensure the pork chops are about 1 inch thick for even cooking.
