- 1/4 cup brown sugar

- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2 1/2 tbsp flour
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and spray a 9 x 9 inch pan with non-stick spray.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the blueberries, sugar, 2 1/2 tbsp flour, lemon juice, nutmeg, cinnamon, and water. Cook until the mixture thickens.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the crisp topping ingredients: 1 cup flour, brown sugar, quick oats, and cold butter. Use a pastry cutter or fork to mix until crumbly.
- Sprinkle the crumble topping over the berry mixture in the pan.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
Feel free to substitute other berries such as raspberries or blackberries if preferred.
