Description

These Easy Banana Pudding Fudge Squares with a Nilla Wafer Crunch are a delightful treat combining creamy banana pudding and crunchy wafers, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 20 ounces almond bark, chopped
  • 1 box banana cream pudding (3.4 ounces)
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 ounces)
  • 20 nilla wafers

Instructions

  • Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper, leaving some extra hanging over the sides to facilitate lifting later.
  • In a medium microwave-safe bowl, pour in the sweetened condensed milk. Heat in 20-second increments for about 1 minute, stirring each time, until it's hot but not boiling.
  • Add the banana pudding mix to the bowl and whisk until smooth and well blended.
  • In a separate microwave-safe bowl, place the chopped almond bark.
  • Microwave the almond bark on high for about 3½ minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth. Avoid overheating it.
  • Quickly combine the pudding mixture with the melted almond bark until fully mixed. Work fast as the mixture will begin to thicken.
  • Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared pan with a rubber spatula.
  • Crush the Nilla wafers in a small bag using a rolling pin or the bottom of a mug.
  • Sprinkle the crushed wafers on top of the fudge and press them gently so they adhere.
  • Cover and refrigerate overnight to allow the fudge to set completely.
  • Once set, lift the fudge from the pan, slice into squares, and enjoy!

Notes

Ensure not to overheat the almond bark as it can seize up if overheated.
Let the fudge cool completely before slicing for better presentation.
