Description

This Creamy Hot Honey Hummus features a delightful blend of chickpeas, garlic, and the sweetness of hot honey. Perfect as a quick appetizer or snack that’s both healthy and satisfying!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 (14 ounce) cans chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • ⅔ cup tahini
  • ¼ cup hot honey, plus more for drizzling
  • ½ lemon, juiced
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • ¼ to ½ cup ice water
  • olive oil for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Reserve a few chickpeas to sprinkle on top of the hummus later.
  2. In a food processor, combine chickpeas, garlic, tahini, hot honey, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Blend and pulse for 2 to 3 minutes, scraping down the sides every 30 seconds until everything is fully blended.
  3. With the processor running, stream in ice water and continue blending until smooth and creamy. Taste and adjust salt and pepper if needed, blending again until well combined.
  4. Spread the hummus onto a plate or in a bowl. Top with the reserved chickpeas, drizzle with olive oil, and add a generous swirl of hot honey. Finish with a sprinkle of salt and pepper and serve.

Notes

For an extra kick, add more hot honey as a drizzle on top.
Serve with pita chips or veggies for great dipping options.
Prepare in advance and store in the fridge for easy snacking.
