Description

Ingredients

  • 8 blueberries
  • ½ lime (cut into 2 wedges)
  • 6 fresh mint leaves
  • fluid ounces white rum
  • ½ fluid ounce simple syrup
  • large handful fresh ice or crushed ice
  • 2 fluid ounces club soda (to taste)
  • 3 blueberries (for garnish, optional)
  • 3 fresh mint leaves (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Muddle the blueberries, lime wedges, and mint leaves in the bottom of a tall glass.
  2. Add white rum, simple syrup, and club soda; stir to combine.
  3. Fill the glass with ice and add more club soda to taste.
  4. Garnish with additional blueberries and mint leaves if desired.

Notes

Use crushed ice for a colder drink.
Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less simple syrup to your preference.
For a non-alcoholic version, substitute the rum with sparkling water.
