Description

This Bang Bang Shrimp boasts an irresistible flavor profile that’s simple to prepare. With large shrimp coated in a crispy panko crust and drizzled with a tangy sauce, it’s perfect for a quick dinner or a satisfying meal that everyone will love.

  • 1 lb large shrimp, deveined and peeled
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp sriracha sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • salt, to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, mix the panko breadcrumbs with salt. Dip each shrimp into mayonnaise, letting the excess drip off, then coat with panko. Place shrimp on the lined baking sheet.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and garlic powder to create the bang bang sauce.
  • Bake the shrimp in the oven for 12-15 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy, flipping them halfway through the cooking time.
  • Before serving, drizzle the baked shrimp with the bang bang sauce.

Notes

Ensure shrimp are dry before coating for better adherence of the breadcrumbs.
Adjust the amount of sriracha based on your spice preference.
Serve with extra bang bang sauce on the side for dipping.
