Description

Enjoy a creamy and flavorful Avocado Dressing, perfect for any salad, sandwich, or dip. This easy recipe uses ripe avocados and fresh ingredients for unbeatable taste!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1/4 cup white wine vinegar
  • 1 lemon – juice only
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 3/4 cup avocado oil
  • 2 tbsp agave nectar
  • 2 tbsp cilantro (or basil, or parsley)
  • coarse kosher salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare a blender or food processor with an opening for adding ingredients.
  2. Halve the avocado, remove the pit, peel the skin, and place the avocado flesh in the blender.
  3. Add white wine vinegar, lemon juice, agave nectar, garlic clove, cilantro, and salt to the blender (do not add oil yet).
  4. Close the lid and blend while slowly drizzling in avocado oil until fully incorporated. Blend for a few more seconds after all the oil is added.
  5. Adjust the consistency by adding more avocado oil if you prefer a thinner dressing.

Notes

Use fresh herbs for the best flavor; cilantro, basil, or parsley are great options.
For extra flavor, consider adding a dash of cayenne pepper or a pinch of cumin.
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
