Description

Apple Pie Granola combines the flavors of sweet apples and warm spices in a simple and healthy breakfast option. Easy to make, it’s perfect for quick mornings or as a snack anytime!


Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups old fashioned roll oats
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2/3 cup apple, peeled, cored & cubed
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine oats, chopped walnuts, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and cubed apples.
  3. Pour in the melted coconut oil, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
  4. Mix everything until the oats are evenly coated with the mixture.
  5. Spread the granola evenly on the lined baking sheet, pressing it down with a spatula.
  6. Bake for 22-28 minutes, stirring halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  7. Allow the granola to cool before breaking it into clusters.

Notes

For added sweetness, consider including dried fruits such as raisins or cranberries after baking.
Store the granola in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two weeks.
