Ingredients
Scale
- 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 pound salmon, (4) 4-ounce filets
- 2 teaspoons spicy brown mustard
- 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped; for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F.
- In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pat the salmon dry with a paper towel. Brush about 1/2 teaspoon of mustard on each salmon filet and sprinkle with 1/4 of the spice mixture. Let sit for about 10 minutes before cooking.
- Place salmon in the preheated air fryer, ensuring each filet has about an inch of space. Cook for 6-8 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 135 degrees F.
- Remove salmon from the air fryer and cover with aluminum foil while cooking any remaining filets. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
Notes
Ensure salmon filets are cut evenly for consistent cooking.
You can adjust the amount of mustard based on your spice preference.
Garnishing with parsley adds a fresh touch to the dish.
