- 1 tablespoon softened butter or mayo
- 2–3 slices cheese (sharp cheddar, American, provolone, Swiss, gouda, or a combo)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 370°F for 3–5 minutes.
- Spread butter evenly on one side of each slice of bread. Place one slice butter-side down, layer cheese on top, and cover with the second slice butter-side up. Secure with a toothpick.
- Place the sandwich in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry at 370°F for 4–5 minutes. Flip the sandwich and cook for another 3–4 minutes until golden and cheese melts.
