Description

Garlic Butter Lamb Chops offer a savory and delectable experience with minimal effort. This dish combines tender lamb with a rich garlic butter sauce and fresh herbs, making it an ideal choice for a quick yet impressive dinner. Perfect for those seeking homemade, delicious meals.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 lamb chops
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Juice of 1 lemon

Instructions

  1. Divide the Italian herbs into two equal portions.
  2. Season the lamb chops with salt, pepper, and half the fresh herbs on both sides.
  3. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt half the butter.
  4. Add the lamb chops to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
  5. Remove chops from pan and let rest on a wire rack.
  6. As chops rest, add the other half butter to the pan and melt.
  7. Add shallot and garlic, heating until fragrant, about 45 seconds. Add the remaining fresh herbs.
  8. Stir in wine to deglaze the pan, stirring up the browned bits of lamb.
  9. Bring the sauce to a boil and let it reduce and thicken for about 2 minutes.
  10. Drizzle sauce over the lamb.
  11. Optional: Sprinkle fresh parsley or sprigs of rosemary over the lamb chops before serving.
  12. Serve the garlic butter pan-seared lamb chops with your favorite side dishes such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a simple salad.

Notes

Let the lamb rest after cooking for more flavor and tenderness.
For a richer taste, use a full-bodied red wine in the sauce.
Pair with sides like roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
