Ingredients
- mint flavored oreos – 24 cookies
- semisweet chocolate disks – 16 ounces
- peppermint extract – 1/4 teaspoon
- green sprinkles – 2 tablespoons
Instructions
- Place the semisweet chocolate disks in a microwave-safe bowl and heat for 30 seconds; stir and continue heating in 30-second bursts until smooth.
- Add the peppermint extract to the melted chocolate and mix well.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
- Submerge each Oreo cookie into the melted chocolate using a fork; lift and tap to let excess chocolate drip off.
- Slide the coated Oreo onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Transfer any remaining melted chocolate into a piping bag or Ziploc bag with a snipped corner.
- Drizzle chocolate over the cookies in a zigzag pattern and immediately sprinkle with green sprinkles.
- Allow the cookies to sit at room temperature for 30-60 minutes or refrigerate for 15 minutes until the chocolate sets.
