Description

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs boneless chicken (thighs or breasts)
  • 1 cup plain greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1.5 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons ground coriander
  • 1.5 teaspoons garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika or kashmiri chili powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon oil (vegetable or avocado)

Instructions

  • Cut the chicken into 1.5-inch pieces.
  • In a bowl, mix together the yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, and spices to make the marinade.
  • Add the chicken to the marinade, ensuring it's well coated. Marinate for 2 hours or overnight for best flavor.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • Place the marinated chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook the chicken for 12 to 14 minutes, flipping halfway through the cooking time.
  • Allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes after cooking before serving with chutney or rice.

Notes

For best results, marinate the chicken overnight to enhance flavor and tenderness.
