Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 & 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup chopped cadbury mini eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring until it turns golden brown and releases a nutty aroma. Remove from heat and allow to cool in another bowl.
  3. Combine the brown butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a bowl and whisk until blended. Add the egg and vanilla extract, whisking until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips and chopped cadbury mini eggs.
  6. Use a large scoop or spoon to drop rounded dough balls onto the prepared sheets.
  7. Bake for 13 minutes or until the edges are set and the centers are slightly soft.
  8. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes, then move them to a wire rack to cool completely.
