Description
This Bailey’s Irish Cream Tiramisu is a must-try dessert featuring dreamy layers of mascarpone cheese and espresso-soaked ladyfingers. It’s simple to prepare and a delightful treat for any gathering.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups heavy cream cold
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoon vanilla instant pudding
- ⅔ cup Irish cream
- 1 lbs mascarpone cheese room temp
- 27 ladyfingers
- 1 cup espresso
- 2 tablespoon Irish cream
- 2 tablespoon cocoa powder
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cold heavy cream, sugar, Irish cream, vanilla extract, and vanilla instant pudding. Use an electric hand mixer until soft peaks form.
- Fold in the room-temperature mascarpone cheese until the mixture is smooth and creamy, being careful not to overmix.
- In a shallow bowl, mix espresso and Irish cream. Quickly dip the ladyfingers into this mixture for 1-2 seconds and arrange them in a 13 by 9-inch baking dish.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the soaked ladyfingers evenly using a spatula.
- Layer more dipped ladyfingers on top and cover with a thin layer of the remaining mascarpone cream.
- Fill a piping bag with the remaining filling and pipe dollops over the thin mascarpone layer.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours to let the flavors meld and the ladyfingers soften, then dust generously with cocoa powder before serving.
Notes
Use cold heavy cream for better whipping results.
Avoid soaking ladyfingers for too long to maintain their structure.
Chill the tiramisu overnight for the best flavor.
