- 4 chicken breasts – equal in size
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp dried thyme – or italian seasoning
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp ground black pepper
- ½ tsp paprika
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together olive oil, dried thyme, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika until well combined.
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel to help the spice rub adhere better. Brush the seasoning mixture onto both sides of the chicken breasts.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375℉ for 5 minutes. Place the chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for 10 minutes. After that, flip the chicken and cook for another 10 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165℉ as checked with a meat thermometer.
- Once cooked, transfer the chicken to a cutting board or plate and let it rest before slicing to ensure the juices remain locked in, resulting in extra tender and juicy chicken! Slice and serve.
